On september 1st FF14 open beta starts, altough so far i havent been very hyped about it, I still want to see whats its all about.
OBT client was just released.

So anyone if anyone has plans to try it out post info what server and char name. Once i have those details ill post them myself.

Valaran could post some sugestions since he was in closed beta, anyways have fun.

Imperium Kinship Monthly Fees

Current Situation
Each week the guild/kinship has to pay 285 silver rental on our house. Currently this is being paid by the same people that bought the house which in fairness to them is a little unfair as they have already spent more than 7 gold buying the house. In order to address this the easiest way to do so is to have a monthly fee for every member of the Kinship that is paid to one person each month. This will also allow us to build up a fund that can be used for other Kinship activities such as crafting, events etc.

Proposed Fees

With effect from today each member will be expected to pay 150 silver once a month (payments should be made at the start of the month) and to send these payments to Azbank.

A record will be kept and this will be viewable in the forum.

Personal Considerations

My main motivation for playing an MMO is the social life provided by these games. Environment and content are of course very important, but second to the feeling of beeing together with a group of like minded and friendly people - and the care and respect that follows.

I've joined Imperium back in November 2009 when the merger with Clan Wulf (CW) took place. Since 1998 CW has always been a small and rather closed group rarely doing any recruting other than inviting RL friends in. I have always had good fun in CW knowing that i've got people, friends, with a pleasant and helpful attitude, both in advice and action, around me.

I was hesitant of the merger at first. Boy was i proven wrong! The past several months have been a great experience.

Unfortunately the social part is almost gone these days. Some of us decided that Imperium is too small to support their goals and ambitions in game and decided to move to legions that are either larger or more dedicated to the areas of the game that are of most interest to them. Others decided they've had enough with AION and closed their accounts or moved on to different games. These of us remaining in AION will find the legion chat to become more quiet and opportunities to do things with the legion are getting rarer and rarer.

With so many people leaving the game recently, AION has become quite "uninteresting" to me. As a result, i have decided to offer the Legions Brigadier General position to my fellow officers.

Legion Considerations

With regards to that, the decision has been made to hand the legion "ownership" back to Azounstone. Imperium in AION will continue to be there, many of us will be playing AION for some time to come. If these of you left in AION Imperium should decide to move to a differnt Legion, feel free to do so. There will be no hard feelings at all. Keep in mind that, should you decide to stay, you will likely be dependent on getting help from other legions to achieve your goals.

Its important to stress that it is YOUR choice, nothing is forced. Do NOT ever feel awkward choosing one over the other, you can change at anytime in either direction.

At the end of the day, i am happy that whenever i login there is a familiar Legion tag above my head in what otherwise seems to be a pretty linear gameplay experience to me at the moment.

My mood and gametime went down the drain with some real life
matters including health, cashflow and relations.
Hopefully some of it get solved within a couple of days, but right now

Hiya all, nomad here.
Hope not everyone forgot my name, but i thought id say hi from a different gaming realm after i left Aion.
So hows things going? I read you got divine conquered once(yes i do still read these boards )
I guess that was a big accomplissment!

I am really found my way back into WoW again,so i doubt ill be back soon into Aion espacially when there is a awesome new expansion coming up, but nevertheless how are things in Aion expension wise?

Aion is still one of the most beautifull games ive seen graphic wise, but i lacked a bit of endgame for sure....
and pvp wise, melee (wich is where my heart lies was way to onderpowered, wich is surely not the case in wow atm )
There is one big feature in Aion i really mis in wow tho, changing the look of youre armor, wish they would implement that in wow

And ah well, im drunk as hell atm, so i guess i can say this and blame it on the booze...but i surely miss some of the really sexy voices in ventrillo

ps; grim,mimer and thorsten, yuo coming to the Orc bbq?
